The millenials bike tour

The Monopoli countryside is full of hidden treasures, still authentic and full of charm, which you could discover with expert local guides. The tour starts from the heart of the old town, riding a mountain bike to the plain of centuries-old olive trees, where it will be possible to admire amazing olive trees and discover secrets about extra virgin olive oil production. It will be a journey through time, passing fortified farms, ancient underground mills and grotto churches with frescoes on the walls. An emotional journey that will allow you to discover authentic places in this corner of Puglia, along country roads and ancient narrow paths. A relaxing ride into the nature, in the shade of centuries-old olive trees, carob trees, almond trees, figs and prickly pears, along secondary roads and old dirt paths flanked by dry stone walls. At the end of the tour you will enjoy a tasting of Apulian typical products and a sensorial analysis of different kind of local extra virgin olive oils.
