The Monopoly countryside is rich in hidden treasures, still authentic and full of charm today, which you can discover in the company of expert local guides. Starting from the historic center, riding a mountain bike, the tour through the plain of ancient olive trees will be a journey through time, passing by fortified farms, ancient underground mills, and frescoed rock churches. An emotional route that will allow you to discover authentic places in this corner of Puglia, traveling along country roads and ancient tratturi. The bike tour includes several stops, including a rock church with medieval frescoes, a 13th-century underground mill, and a farmhouse surrounded by over two thousand centuries-old olive trees. A relaxing bike ride in nature, under the shade of ancient olive and carob trees, almond trees, fig trees, and prickly pears, along secondary roads and old dirt trails lined with dry stone walls. The tour concludes with a tasting of typical Apulian products and a sensory analysis of different types of Apulian extra virgin olive oil.
