The millenials bike tour

The tour, starting from the historic center of Monopoli, is a journey through time among fortified farmhouses, ancient underground oil mills, frescoed rock churches, and millenary olive trees. An emotional journey that will allow you to discover authentic places in this corner of Puglia, traveling along country roads and ancient trails. The bike tour includes several stops, including the suggestive beach of Porto Ghiacciolo, one of the most fascinating stretches of coast dominated by the abbey of Santo Stefano. The tour continues with a visit to a rock church with medieval frescoes, a 13th-century underground oil mill, and a farmhouse surrounded by over two thousand ancient olive trees. A relaxing bike ride in nature, in the shade of millenary olive and carob trees, almond, fig and prickly pear trees, along secondary roads and old dirt paths bordered by dry stone walls. The tour concludes with the tasting of typical Apulian products (taralli, patés, wines, and jams) and the sensory analysis of three types of extra virgin Apulian olive oil.
